All Rural and Community Banks in Ghana have been given until December 31, 2026, to complete the transition to the country’s new Community Banking model. The Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama, announced that the institutions must complete their statutory name changes, corporate rebranding and all regulatory requirements.
