ACCRA, Ghana – Camelot Ghana PLC (GSE: CMLT) has officially released its annual report and financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, revealing a significant boost in shareholder returns. Following a year of robust growth, the Board of Directors has declared a total dividend of GHS 586,136 for the 2025 financial year.

Higher Returns for Shareholders

The 2025 dividend payout represents a sharp 50% increase over the GHS 389,269 distributed in the previous year. Investors are set to receive GHS 0.086 per share, up from the GHS 0.0676 per share paid out for the 2024 period.

Profitability and Revenue Growth

The dividend hike is backed by a stellar bottom-line performance. Key highlights from the 2025 fiscal year include:

  • Profit After Tax: Grew by 27%, reaching GHS 3.26 million compared to GHS 2.56 million in 2024.
  • Revenue: Rose to GHS 36.97 million, a substantial jump from GHS 28.11 million the previous year, driven by strong local and export market activity.
  • Shareholder Equity: Total equity strengthened to GHS 6.83 million, providing a solid foundation for future operations.

Looking Ahead

While the results have been finalized and the report was issued in Accra on April 8, 2026, the dividend is officially payable in 2026. Investors should keep a close eye on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) for the upcoming announcement regarding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the "Closure of Register" dates to determine eligibility for the payout.

As of early April 2026, Camelot continues to offer one of the most competitive dividend yields on the Ghana Stock Exchange, currently estimated at approximately 44.4% based on recent market pricing.
