The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission has announced an upward adjustment in electricity and water tariffs, with electricity tariffs increasing by 3.49% and water tariffs rising by 0.85%, effective July 1, 2026. The Commission said the adjustment forms part of its quarterly tariff review mechanism, which takes into account key economic and operational indicators, including inflation.
