Food and utilities power 66.3% of Ghana’s 2025 inflation — GSS

Food prices and utility costs were the main forces behind Ghana’s inflation in 2025, together accounting for 66.3% of total price increases. According to the Ghana Statistical Service’s 2025 Annual Inflation Report, food and non-alcoholic beverages alone contributed 52.3%, making them the biggest driver of rising prices.
