Ghana’s economy expanded by 6.4% in the first quarter of 2026, showing a slight improvement over the 6.2% recorded in the same period in 2025. The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) released the new Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures. The data shows that economic growth came from several sectors, with the non-oil economy growing by 6.3%.
