Ghana ended 2025 with a total value of export earnings of a record US31.1billion.ThisiscomparedwithUS31.1 billion. This is compared with US19.1 billion in 2024.

The revelation was captured in the Summary of Economic and Financial Data by the Bank of Ghana on 27 January 2026. The data showed that gold led the pack, as earnings stood at US20billion,comparedtoUS20billion, compared to US10.3 billion in 2024.

It was followed by cocoa, which fetched the country US3.8billionin2025,representingasignificantincreasefromtheUS3.8 billion in 2025, representing a significant increase from the US1.9 billion in 2024.

The development, according to some industry watchers, can be described as interesting, based on the declining prices of the commodity on the international market.

The total oil exports, however, decreased from US3.8billiontoUS3.8 billion to US2.6 billion, obviously linked to the declining prices of crude oil on the international market in recent times.

Other exports got the country some US$3.6billion.
